47" VIZIO

The NEW Vizio!!!

Old Toshiba!I don't know if any of you remember the amazing money wreath that I received at Christmas from my students. Well at the end of the school year I also received another awesome gift from my students (yes, I am VERY blessed to work where I do). I saved and combined the two and bought the 47" LED Vizio. Now I will forever remember what the LC9 students gave me! With the help of neighbors Clint and Jayden moved the 400 pound Toshiba to the upstairs TV room!

University of Texas

The Holden boys sharing a moment and dreaming of standing here again someday.

Casen coming out of the dugout and hitting the field

Too cool!!

Hanging over the door of the locker room on the way out to the field. Not to mention they walk right by all of their Conference Championship and NCAA National Championship trophies before every game.

Casen sitting in Taylor Jungmanns locker, the #12 pick in the 2011 MLB draft

Casen laying on the big Longhorn logo in center field.

Another shot of Jungmanns locker

The new inspirational statement that Jayden is going to model

Coach Lynch pulled some strings and was able to get the Legends Black a tour of the University of Texas stadium, including Hall of Fame, weight room, and both locker rooms. What an awesome experience for the boys!

Salt Lick

Salt Lick BBQ!

More Salt Lick BBQ!

We went to Austin for a baseball tourney. The trip started off with a team gathering at Salt Lick BBQ. For those of you who don't know the Salt Lick is literally in the middle of nowhere, about 30 minutes of country driving to get there. It's an old huge country building decorated with white Christmas lights and packed with people eating BBQ and listening to a Country Western band playing. (Behind us there is a wedding party having a reception!) This restaurant is rated amongst the top in the country on the Food Network channel!
