Another School Year In The Books!

It's another school year in the books.  Jayden will be a junior in high school (oh where has the time gone) and Casen will be in sixth grade.  Many times Clint and I are home by ourselves while the boys are with friends, sometimes we already feel like empty nesters.  I feel we are too young!!!!!  All-Stars is about to begin for Casen, tonight is actually the first team practice!  Jayden is a lifeguard at Harpers Landing Pool, and busy doing College Park Varsity baseball and basketball summer leagues in the evenings.  We are all so glad that it's officially summer!!!  HAPPY SUMMER TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEW CAR!!!

We have added a new baby to the household!  It's a 2012 Nissan Rogue!  We have handed Jayden the keys to the Pontiac G6, Clint drives the Yukon, and now I drive a Rogue.  It's absolutely perfect!  It's color is graphite, grandma you win, not candy apple red Jimmer!

Basketball season is officially over. The boys lost to Naaman Forest, a Dallas school. It was a close game but we fell short at the end. Jayden got off of the bus at 2:30 hopped into the car and said lets go to the 4:00 baseball game in Magnolia. We came home gathered his baseball stuff and he changed in the car enroute to Magnolia. We made it in time for the game. He was the DH for the pitcher and batted THIRD. He was 2 for 4 with two doubles, a walk and 2 RBI's. Not bad for a kid who hasn't seen live pitching since July!!!

So proud of these boys!!!
So proud to be a College Park Cavalier!!! The boys are amongst the top 32 teams in the STATE OF TEXAS, and still playing!!! Despite 3 knee blowouts and 6'3" is the tallest boy on the roster and (we see 6'6"-6'8" every game) we are a team of HUGE hearts and determination!! GO CAVALIERS!!!!!!!!!! I BELIEVE THAT WE WILL WIN, I BELIEVE THAT WE WILL WIN!!!

The CP student body (CAV CRAZIES) has stepped up to the plate as well, packing the stands at every home and away game. It really is something special to see!
