Tomatos, Caladiums, and Finales
Oh and I forgot to say "Mr. Basketball" at Knox Jr. High!! Jayden received this award during the awards ceremony Monday night! Yeah Jayden we are so proud of you!!!
My tomato plants are huge, almost to my armpit!!!
First tomato of the season...May 25!!!!!!!!!!!!
The caladium pots on the front porch are HUGE, almost over taking the walkway into the house!
Odd post but it has been awhile! As I sit and do this blog the season finales are on for two of my favorite shows...American Idol and The Biggest Loser. Waiting until the boys get home to watch Idol and sneaking peeks at TBL, this means that summer is almost here!!!!!!!!!!

Since the last post Casen has made all-stars and practices are underway. Jayden has played in a basketball tourney (2nd place) and a baseball tourney (3rd place). Jaydens Orwall Reds team plays in the World Series tomorrow night, hopefully I will have pictures of a championship team next post!!!

Baseball and Superman!
What a sweet picture of handsome boys!!
First place at the Super NIT in Dallas, Texas!

Team mascot, Superman with super powers that came in handy!
The most beautiful stadium I have ever been in, and Jayden had the luxury of playing two ball games here!
The Legends black baseball team has won 2 tournaments in a row. Two of Jaydens games were in the above baseball stadium. It is an independent league stadium in Dallas, Texas, "Air Hogs Stadium". Absolutely beautiful and new, real grass the nice skinny grass that can be found up north and at golf courses! Big screen in center field and the red to the right of the screen is an outdoor swimming pool! To the right of the screen is a bar, Whiskey Jacks. In-between games the boys and families had lunch at the bar... very cool place!!

Happy Easter!
Easter Project, ripped out a hedge and made this!
Did anyone know that we had a covered patio area?!

Happy Easter to everyone! As you can see from the previous post we have been really busy with baseball. Easter weekend we literally had nothing to do so we undertook a major project in the front yard. I am kicking myself for not taking a before picture, oh well if you have been here before you know that there was a hedge so thick in front of the patio you couldn't even see that there was a patio! We tore out the hedge made the bed smaller and planted minimal work plants!

Busy baseball returns next week. Both boys have two games during the week and Jayden has a tourney over the weekend, hopefully I'll have some first place pics.
